Get Ready for WorkLife 3.0
It feels like things are changing. There’s a light at the end of the tunnel, and it doesn't appear to be an oncoming train.
A few headlines I've recently seen:
"Companies put return to work plans in motion" ( New York Times )
"A CEO's guide to returning to the office" ( HBR )
"Facebook sets reopening date for S.F., Bay area offices" ( S.F. Chronicle )
This is encouraging. I don't know about you, but I'd much rather read articles discussing post-pandemic life than another article about how to "look your best on Zoom."
However, this is also presenting leaders with a challenge. The team that went into quarantine in the Spring of 2020 will not be the same team returning to the office in 2021.
Most offices will be different. We're entering a new phase of work-life, one we're calling "WorkLife 3.0."
Are you responsible for helping your team navigate this transition? Then be sure to check out the latest episode of Here's What I'm Seeing (below). This week, we discuss three ideas that are helping us as we begin marching towards WorkLife 3.0.
